All 90 seats were discussed in the State Election Committee meeting of Chhattisgarh Congress on Sunday. Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel said – All the names have been discussed. The applications that have come from the block, the names that have come in the survey and the recommendations of the leaders, all have been discussed. Meetings of the Screening Committee and the State Election Committee have been held. The decision on the ticket will be taken after the meeting of the Central Election Committee.

The State Election Committee meeting lasted for about 5 hours at the Chief Minister’s residence on Sunday. This meeting was very important before the Central Election Committee meeting to be held in Delhi. State in-charge Kumari Selja, State President Deepak Baij, Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel, Deputy CM TS Singhdev and committee members attended the meeting. CWC meeting will be held on Monday in Delhi.

After the meeting of the State Election Committee, CM Bhupesh Baghel, Deputy CM TS Singhdev and State President Deepak Baij left for Delhi. Congress Working Committee meeting is to be held in Delhi on Monday. After the CWC meeting, it is expected that there will be a meeting of the Central Election Committee. The first list of Congress will be released only after this meeting.

Election committee meeting has been held 6 times so far

Till now, Congress State Election Committee meeting has been held more than 6 times. The total number of applications was discussed in the meeting. A list of about 300 people was prepared by sorting the applications of more than 2 thousand claimants, in which single names were decided on 40 seats. Even after this, the round of meetings continued and till now single names have been decided on 65 seats.

Congress alert after BJP’s viral list

After BJP’s viral list, Congress seems to be more cautious. There will also be a discussion about keeping the finalized names completely confidential till the Central Election Committee meeting. If the list is released, there will be a discussion on how to control if there is indiscipline or protest anywhere.
