Minister Mohammad Akbar gave direct help of Rs 13 lakh 75 thousand to 275 retailers in Kawardha affected by Corona crisis and lockdown

Kawardha, 18 june 2020,. Several initiatives and special measures are being taken by Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel to provide direct help to the people affected by the global epidemic corona virus infection and lockdown. In the program organized by the state’s Forest, Transport Minister and Kawardha MLA Mohammad Akbar today, in the Kawardha Municipality with its voluntary grant head, 275 traders running their livelihood under the voluntary grant item, again trade or work – To start the business, direct help was given by giving a check of Rs 13 lakh 75 thousand. A check of five thousand rupees was provided to each retail merchant affected by the Corona crisis to start trading. All the retail traders expressed their gratitude to the Chhattisgarh government and Kawardha MLA Akbar for direct assistance of five to five thousand rupees in the time of economic crisis. Kawardha Nagar Palika Parishad has become the first municipality in the state, where direct funding has been provided to its retail dealers to conduct business again.

Forest, Transport Minister and Kawardha MLA Mohammad Akbar in his brief address said that Chhattisgarh government is a government of village-poor, farmers and youth. Special efforts are being made by the state government to provide all possible help from the farmers of the state affected by this global epidemic of corona crisis and lockdown. He has said that confidence comes from farmers to traders only when they have enough money to start farming and trading. He said that in order to provide financial help to retail traders during this crisis, the Kawardha Municipality President brought it to the notice and helped the affected people. It is believed that this financial help given to the small sellers during this crisis will give a new condition and direction to his life.

Municipality President Rishi Kumar Sharma said that Kawardha MLA and Cabinet Minister, Akbar Bhai Ji, have helped in their livelihood by providing financial support to the 275 road vendors of the city affected by the Corona crisis and lockdown. He said that due to prolonged lockdown during the Corona virus infection, the business of the pavement vendors had come to a standstill, the use of savings from their business had also ended in the lockdown. At such a time, Minister Akbar Bhai has provided a support amount of five thousand rupees for starting the business again. Which will prove to be lifesaving for their business. He distributed the check to all the beneficiaries and requested that by using the amount of assistance, start the business again and become independent and take care of the family. Municipality President Rishi Kumar Sharma expressed his gratitude to the Hon’ble Minister for financial support during this disaster. He told that 275 street vendors of Kawardha city like roadside chant, secretly, fruit vegetable and other traders doing retail business provided financial assistance of Rs. Five thousand each by cabinet minister and MLA Kawardha for voluntary grant to restart business. Total 13 lakh 75 thousand It has been approved, which was distributed in the presence of Hon’ble Minister and other public representatives in the Nagar Palika Sabha today.
