‘Chhattisgarh Media Freedom, Protection and Promotion Committee’ has been constituted by the state government under the Chhattisgarh Mediapersons Protection Act 2023. Regarding the formation of the committee, as per the order issued today from the Public Relations Department of the Ministry located at Mahanadi Bhawan Nava Raipur, Atal Nagar, the chairman of the committee will be Shri Dinesh Kumar Srivastava, Indian Administrative Service (Retired).
Under the order issued, the members of the committee include Mrs. Pushpa Rokade, correspondent, Prakhar Samachar, Bijapur, Mr. Diwakar Muktibodh, senior journalist, Raipur, Mr. Nathmal Sharma, Editor-in-Chief, Evening Times, Bilaspur and the director level director of the association nominated by the Director Public Prosecution. Officer involved. Apart from this, the Additional Director level officer nominated by the Commissioner/Director, Public Relations will be the member-secretary of the committee.
