Trust Conference, District Raigarh
Leader of Opposition Rajya Sabha, MP Shri Mallikarjun Kharge started his address in the trust conference with Jai Johar Jai Chhattisgarh Mahtari.
Such a conference probably did not take place in any corner or part of the country. It is a matter of pride that the trust conference is being held everywhere in Chhattisgarh, it is being led by Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel.
I have a small suggestion that its name should not be the conference of trust but it should be the conference of rituals of trust, this ritual conference is going on in large numbers in Chhattisgarh. Work is being done in everyone’s interest.
We made plans understanding the needs of the common people. Lakhs and crores of hands get work through these schemes.
Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel never stopped the work of development of Chhattisgarh even in adverse circumstances. I congratulate you all.
Today development is happening everywhere in Chhattisgarh. Our government works to strengthen the people. Godhan Nyay Yojana has strengthened small scale industries. Employment has increased in villages. The economy has become strong.
In five years, more than Rs 1 lakh 75 thousand crores have been put into the pockets of common people through direct benefit schemes. This is the reason why more than 40 lakh people have come out of poverty in Chhattisgarh in the last 5 years.
Chhattisgarh government does more than what it says. Earlier there were 27 districts, today there are 33 districts, the number of tehsils has also increased. People’s income has increased.
