Inauguration and Bhoomi Pujan of development works costing Rs 2 crore 52 lakh in the District Court complex

Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel has today given big gifts to the advocates of Durg district. During his stay in Durg today, he inaugurated the Model Library of the Advocates Association built at a cost of Rs 33 lakh in the District Court premises and performed the bhoomi pujan of the new construction work of the old building of Bar Room No. 04 at a cost of Rs 2 crore 19 lakh. On this occasion, Advocate General of Chhattisgarh High Court, Shri Satish Chandra Verma was present as a special guest.
Addressing the ceremony, Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel said that at the time of swearing in, the Advocates Association had demanded repair of the library and bar room. I am happy that various demands related to the judicial system in Chhattisgarh have been fulfilled. Citing the contribution of lawyers in the independence of the country, he said that the contribution of lawyers was there for the development of the society then and even today. Today, advocates are considered to be the most intellectuals in the society. The Chief Minister said that there is a provision in the Constitution of India that if you are an accused, So you also get an opportunity to express your views as per the law. The Chief Minister congratulated everyone for the contribution of the lawyers in strengthening the judicial system. Advocate General of Chhattisgarh High Court, Mr. Satish Chandra Verma, in his address, highlighted the Chief Minister’s initiative for the needs of the judicial system. In the welcome report, President of the Advocates Association, Ms. Neeta Jain thanked the Chief Minister on behalf of the association for fulfilling the much awaited demand of the association. District and Sessions Judge Rita Yadav and other judges, officials and advocates of the District Bar Association, MLAs Mr. Arun Vora and Devendra Yadav, Mr. R.N. of the State Backward Classes Commission were present in the ceremony. Verma, Mayor of Municipal Corporation Durg, Shri Dheeraj Bakliwal were present.
Chief Minister visited Organic C-Mart –
Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel today inspected the newly constructed Organic C-Mart by cutting the ribbon at the entrance of Ganjpara Fort. Built at a cost of Rs 67 lakh, arrangements have been made for the sale of organic products produced by farmers in this organic C-mart. It should be noted that there are a total of 155 organic farms in the district, out of which greens, vegetables and fruits are being produced in 60 organic farms. 1200 farmers registered in the district are doing organic farming. After the launch of C-Mart, they are getting fair price for their produce. Till now, organic products worth Rs 1 crore 78 lakh have been sold through C-Mart. On this occasion, Durg MLA Mr. Arun Vora and Bhilai MLA Mr. Devendra Yadav, Mayor of Municipal Corporation Durg Mr. Dheeraj Bakliwal, Collector Mr. Pushpendra Kumar Meena, Superintendent of Police Mr. Shalabh Sinha, District Panchayat CEO Mr. Ashwani Dewangan and other officials were present.
