Governor inaugurates cath lab in RIMS

Governor Shri Vishwabhushan Harichandan said that the duty of a doctor is to serve the patients first. Doctors are like God for patients. He appealed to the medical students to serve the poor patients. The Governor expressed the above remarks during the inauguration program of the Cath Lab at Raipur Institute of Medical Sciences.
Shri Harichandan said that medical students should serve the society and the country after completing their education. Especially such patients should be treated who are not able to get their treatment elsewhere due to poverty. He said that the medical profession is one of the noblest professions.
He said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, India faced Covid-19 with utmost courage and showed the country and the world that India is fully capable of dealing with the challenges. Doctors and paramedical staff set an example by serving humanity during the challenging times of COVID-19. During this time of disaster, the doctors and paramedical staff kept our spirits high. He said that by following the oath of service taken by you in letter and spirit, you have explained the meaning of duty and dedication towards the entire country. He said to achieve success in your life and serve the society and nation. On this occasion, a memento was presented to the Governor on behalf of the institute.
In the program, Executive Director of RIMS, Dr. K. Of. Wadhwa, Dr. Gambhir, Dr. Adile, faculty members and students were present in large numbers.
