On the occasion of World Tourism Day, Saroda Dadar village of Chhattisgarh was honored in the silver category of the best village under the Best Tourism Village competition in a program organized at Bharat Mandapam, Pragati Maidan, New Delhi.
The state of Chhattisgarh is capable of providing excellent service to the tourists with its picturesque sites, tourism innovations and tourism development activities. Chhattisgarh has been playing a very important role in developing the concepts of rural tourism, sustainable tourism and responsible tourism.
Saroda Dadar has got a new identity at the national level in the field of rural tourism, which Chhattisgarh will definitely get a response in the coming times. This award was received by Dr. Subhada Chaturvedi, Nodal Officer, Rural Tourism and Shri Mangal Singh Dhurve, Sarodha Dadar Village on behalf of Chhattisgarh Tourism. On this occasion, Ms. Kumud Mishra and important associate of Saroda Gram Ko Best Tourism Village Project, Mr. Krishna Kevat were also present.
