Raipur: Jal Jeevan Mission: Better performance of aspirational districts

Under the leadership of Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel and the guidance of Public Health Engineering Minister Guru Rudrakumar, all the aspirational districts of the state are performing better. Under the Jal Jeevan Mission, the work of providing free domestic tap connections in the rural areas of the state is being done at a rapid pace. 
It is noteworthy that under Jal Jeevan Mission, pure drinking water is being provided at the rate of 55 liters per person per day in the state, for this, action plans are being prepared in all the districts and work is being done at a fast pace. Under the Jal Jeevan Mission, so far among all the aspirational districts of the state, maximum number of 1 lakh 20 thousand 088 (76.59 percent) people in Rajnandgaon district have been given domestic tap connections. Similarly, 1 lakh 54 thousand 388 (64.51 percent) in Mahasamund, 84 thousand 879 (67.54 percent) in Kondagaon, 96 thousand 772 (57.40 percent) in Bastar, 18 thousand 342 (60.41 percent) in Narayanpur district, 80 thousand 143 (80 thousand 143 percent) in Kanker. 53.05 percent), 47 thousand 496, 27 thousand 753 (54.71 percent) in Dantewada, 32 thousand 448 (48.97 percent) in Sukma, 27 thousand 268 (48.47 percent) in Bijapur and 97 thousand 718 (47.22 percent) in Korba. Domestic tap connections for drinking water have been provided.
