Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be on a tour of the state on September 30 to conclude BJP’s ongoing Parivartan Yatra in Chhattisgarh and to instill enthusiasm among party workers about the elections. Preparations for the meeting to be held at the Science College grounds are going on in full swing. .
On Wednesday, the SPG team took stock of the pandal and other preparations being made in the Science College grounds. The officials asked for some improvements in the arrangement of the stage from security point of view. SPG’s IG and two AIG rank officers discussed with former minister Amar Aggarwal, District President Ramdev Kumawat along with police-administration officials in the Manthan meeting room located at Collectorate. Bullet proof car will arrive from Gujarat.
In the meeting, information about the preparations for the programme, stage arrangements, capacity and area of the helipad and pandal was taken. According to sources, a bullet proof car will reach here from Gujarat on September 29 to transport VIPs from the helipad to the stage. A 2 lakh square feet pandal is being built.
State Vice President of BJP and co-convenor of the meeting at Science College Ground, Bhupendra Savanni told Dainik Bhaskar that the ongoing BJP’s Parivartan Yatra in the state will conclude on September 30. It started from Jashpur on 15 September under the leadership of National President JP Nadda and on 12 September from Dantewada under the leadership of state in-charge Om Mathur. Both Parivartan Yatra of BJP will conclude in Bilaspur. Pandal is being built in 2 lakh square feet in Science College grounds.
To make this occasion historic, a 2 lakh square feet pandal is being built in the Science College grounds. Apart from the stage, a 332 by 700 square feet dome is being prepared. Bhupendra Savanni said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi recently passed the Nari Vandan Women’s Reservation Bill, launched many welfare schemes like Vishwakarma Yojana, Ayushman Bharat Yojana, Ujjwala Yojana for the welfare of the countrymen, for this the public and workers will express gratitude to the Prime Minister. .
He claimed that there will be double the crowd in Bilaspur as compared to the Prime Minister’s program organized in Raigarh. District President Ramdev Kumawat claimed that the target is to have one lakh people participate in the concluding program of the Parivartan Yatra. Workers, officials and common people from 22 assembly constituencies will participate in this. Along with prominent leaders of the state, central officials will also participate on the stage.
