Chief Minister will virtually inaugurate “Chhattisgarh Niwas” on September 27
A glimpse of Chhattisgarh’s culture and traditions will be seen in New Delhi

The people of Chhattisgarh will get the new “Chhattisgarh Niwas” as a gift. Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel will virtually inaugurate this new Chhattisgarh residence built in Sector 13 of Dwarka, New Delhi, from his residence office on September 27. The total cost of the newly constructed Chhattisgarh Niwas Bhawan is approximately Rs 60 crore 42 lakh. The building has 61 rooms, 13 suites which are equipped with modern facilities.
In the last three years, a newly constructed “Chhattisgarh Niwas” has been prepared in Dwarka, the capital of the country, Delhi, to serve the residents of Chhattisgarh by overcoming various obstacles (including the Corona period). It was conceived by Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel for the convenience of the residents going from Chhattisgarh to Delhi for various government and non-government works and medical treatment.
However, already two buildings of Chhattisgarh Government, “Chhattisgarh Bhawan” Chanakyapuri and “Chhattisgarh Sadan” are located in New Delhi near Safdarjung Hospital. But to meet the modern and growing needs of Chhattisgarh, the need for a third building was being felt for a long time.
Chief Minister Mr. Baghel had laid its foundation stone three years ago. For this, the construction of a new “Chhattisgarh Niwas” in Dwarka, New Delhi was envisaged and its foundation stone was laid virtually by the Chief Minister on 19 June 2020. This is the first time that the construction of such an important state-of-the-art building has been successfully completed by the Government of Chhattisgarh outside Chhattisgarh, which is a milestone for the development of Chhattisgarh.
Specialty of “Chhattisgarh Niwas” building
Public Works Department official said that for the construction of Chhattisgarh Niwas, 43 thousand 803 square feet land has been purchased for Rs 22.50 crore. Nava Chhattisgarh Niwas is giving a clear glimpse of Chhattisgarh culture and traditions. In this, 13 suite rooms, 61 rooms, dining hall and waiting hall including meeting hall and residential tower for employees have been constructed. The environment has also been taken care of in the construction of the building.
Prime Location- The newly constructed Chhattisgarh Niwas is located in the prime location of Dwarka. Apart from the grand malls, five star hotels, beautiful parks, new Uttar Pradesh Bhawan, Arunachal Bhawan, Delhi’s largest ISKCON temple etc., its location is also excellent in terms of connectivity. You can reach Connaught Place in just 13-15 minutes. Dwarka Sector 13 metro is near this newly constructed building.
