Shri Rahul Gandhi said in his address that
Today, as soon as I came here, a remote control was given in my hand, I was told to press the button and as soon as I pressed the button, thousands of crores of rupees came into the bank accounts of the poor and needy beneficiaries in a second or two.
Today the government of Chhattisgarh is giving money to build houses for the poor. Today Rs 1200 crore has come into your account through remote control, similar money will come into your account in the coming years also.
At the time of elections, we had made promises to you to strengthen the foundation of Chhattisgarh. We had promised loan waiver of farmers, half electricity bill and purchase of paddy at Rs 2500 per quintal, we fulfilled this promise.
We started giving Rs 7000 per month to landless labourers. For health, we provided treatment facility up to Rs 5 lakh to 70 lakh families. Made 42 thousand recruitments. The youth are being given unemployment allowance of Rs 2500 per month.
I am very happy to reach Bilaspur today. I was given this remote control and was told to press its button and as soon as we pressed the button, crores of rupees went into the bank accounts of the poor of Chhattisgarh. The money was received in the bank account within a second or two.
The promises we made to you in the elections. We fulfilled all those promises. Electricity bill halved, fair price of paddy, we fulfilled all the promises
Under Kisan Nyay Yojana, we gave Rs 21 thousand crore through input subsidy. We also did not forget the farmers who did not have land, we gave them Rs 7,000. Gave support price to tribals for minor forest produce. Forest rights were given. In health, treatment facilities worth Rs 5 lakh were provided, 70 lakh families benefited. 42 thousand vacancies filled. Unemployment allowance was given to one lakh 30 thousand youth.
Caste census is the X-ray of India, it will know how many OBCs there are in the country. How many tribals are there? How many are from the general category? Once the data comes, the country will be able to move forward taking everyone along.
Women have to participate. If everyone has to participate, then caste census will have to be conducted.

Our government is the government of the poor, tribals and backward classes. Works for them.
