On the occasion of Chakradhar ceremony, national level women’s wrestling competition was organized at Martyr Colonel Viplav Tripathi Stadium. 44 women wrestlers from the states of Haryana, Punjab, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan and Chhattisgarh participated in the wrestling competition.
Manjit of Haryana stood first in the weight category of 45-50 kg in the competition. Similarly, Raveena of Punjab stood second and Jyoti third and Siya Tomar of Uttar Pradesh stood fourth. In 50 to 56 kg category, Ankush of RSPB stood first, Rajni of Punjab stood second and Divya Tomar of Uttar Pradesh stood third and Priyanka stood fourth.

In 56 to 52 kg category, Reena of Haryana stood first and Hansika stood second, Jyoti of Rajasthan stood third and Siya Tomar of Uttar Pradesh stood fourth. In 62-72 kg category, Simran from Punjab stood first, Manju stood second, Manisha stood third and Sanju from Haryana stood fourth. During the competition, the winner of one team was awarded a certificate and memento along with prize money. Similarly, all the women participants were presented with citation, sports kit and cash amount.
On this occasion, a large number of spectators including Dinesh Jaiswal, Balbir Sharma, Balkrishna Dansena, BK Rajput from Tribal Development, Vishnu Aggarwal, GR Karsh were present.
