325 development works worth Rs 359.83 crore given to Manendragarh-Chirmiri-Bharatpur district
Ram Vatika has been prepared at a cost of Rs 7.45 crore and infrastructure development work has been done.

Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel today reached the holy land from where Lord Shri Ram had entered Chhattisgarh with Mother Sita for the first time during his exile. Shri Baghel visited the places related to Shri Ram at Sitamarhi Harchowka in Manendragarh-Chirmiri-Bharatpur district and inaugurated the works of Ram Vanagaman Tourism Circuit built at a cost of Rs 7 crore 45 lakh.
On this occasion, the Chief Minister also announced to build a hundred bed hospital in Janakpur. He also announced widening of the road from Kelhari to Harchauka. On this occasion, he inaugurated and dedicated 325 development works worth Rs 359 crore 83 lakh to Manendragarh Chirmiri Bharatpur district. These include inauguration of 160 works costing Rs 156 crore 47 lakh and bhoomi pujan of 165 works costing Rs 203 crore 36 lakh.
Ram Vatika and infrastructure development works have been done at a cost of Rs 7 crore 45 lakh under the Ram Van Gaman Tourism Circuit in Sitamarhi-Harchauka on the banks of Mawai River on the border of Chhattisgarh and Madhya Pradesh. The Chief Minister inaugurated the huge statue of Lord Shri Ram, Ramayana interpretation centre, cafeteria, Siyaram Kutir, tourist information centre, river bank and infrastructure development works here.
During this period, the Chief Minister also distributed beneficiary oriented materials. Also inspected the departmental stall. Addressing the program, Chief Minister Mr. Baghel said that with the blessings of Lord Shri Ram, rapid change is taking place in Chhattisgarh. Lord Shri Ram has been our inspiration. To follow his ideals and preserve his memories, we are developing Shri Ram Vanagaman Tourism Circuit. We have developed the complex of Mata Kaushalya temple at Chandkhuri. This is the only temple of Mata Kaushalya in the world. We have inaugurated holy places associated with Lord Shri Ram in Shivrinarayan, Rajim, Ramgarh, Sihawa.
The Chief Minister said that we are continuously working towards saving Chhattisgarhi culture. An effort was made to showcase tribal culture on a national platform through the National Tribal Festival. The ideals related to Shri Ram were presented through the National Ramayana Festival. The work of saving our spoken language was done. Our food tradition like bore baasi was re-established. Now even officers eat stale sacks with gusto and post about it on social media.
The Chief Minister told the gathering that the third installment of Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana will be transferred at the end of September. Till now, an amount of Rs 1 lakh 75 thousand crore has been transferred to the accounts of the beneficiaries through Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana and other such schemes. He said that earlier electricity in your district used to come from Madhya Pradesh, now electricity comes from your state only. We created new districts and new subdivisions so that progress can happen faster. We have done development works worth Rs 1260 crore in your district.
On this occasion, Assembly Speaker Dr. Charandas Mahant also gave his address. He said that it is a matter of happiness that this circuit is being inaugurated on the occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi. Maryada Purushottam Ram is our ideal. Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel is doing a very good job of saving his memories. On this occasion, Bharatpur-Sonhat MLA Shri Gulab Kamro presented a bow and arrow to the Chief Minister and the Assembly Speaker. Hanuman Chalisa was recited by famous Bollywood singer Ms. Trupti Shakya.
On this occasion, Culture Minister Mr. Amarjeet Bhagat, Tribal and Scheduled Caste Development Minister Mr. Mohan Markam, Parliamentary Secretary and Baikunthpur MLA Mrs. Ambika Singh Dev, Manendragarh MLA Dr. Vinay Jaiswal, Parliamentary Secretary and Samari MLA Mr. Chintamani Maharaj, Chairman of Cow Seva Commission. Rajeshree Mahant Dr. Ramsundar Das, Tourism Board Chairman Shri Atal Srivastava were also present.
