Governor Shri Vishwabhushan Harichandan today I.T.M. Expressed these remarks in the convocation ceremony of Raipur University.
ITM organized in Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Auditorium. In the eighth convocation of the university, 377 degrees including 13 gold medals were distributed to the students. CEO and MD of Kendriya Bhandar Mr. Mukesh Kumar, ITM Professor R.S. Mani and Carnatic Music expert Smt. G. Sharda Subramaniam was awarded an honorary degree from the university.
Governor Shri Harichandan participated in the program as the chief guest. In his address, he said that this convocation is not only a celebration of the success of the students, but is also a reflection of the immense potential present within each one. Education has always been the driving force for social progress. It has the power to break barriers, challenge norms and create opportunities. The university education journey will shape your future, the knowledge you acquire will be used for nation building.
Shri Harichandan said that we live in a fast and dynamic world, where technological advancements and globalization are reshaping industries and businesses. Adapting to these changes is essential to remain relevant and grow in your chosen fields. The Governor urged the students to use their education and knowledge for personal development as well as upliftment of the people around them. Be a responsible citizen and contribute actively to the development of our great nation.
Governor Shri Harichandan told the students not to forget the pride of the country. Our country is today the fifth largest economy in the world and is moving towards becoming the third economy under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Modi ji. Mera Mati Mera Desh campaign was launched on the initiative of Shri Modi ji in honor of the brave freedom fighters and heroes who sacrificed their lives for the country. Recently, the successful organization of G-20 countries conference in India increased India’s credibility in the world.
The convocation address at the ceremony was given by Dr. R. R., Chairman (Honorary) of the School of Advanced Studies in Nuclear and Technology under Bhabha Atomic Research Institute and Padma Vibhushan awardee. Chidambaram gave. The presidential address in the program was given by the Chancellor of ITM University, Professor Dr. P.V. Ramanna. Vice Chancellor Dr. Sumen Singh gave the welcome address.
