Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed BJP’s Vijay Shankhnad rally in Raigarh. He described Congress as deeply immersed in corruption. He said that the same Congress which had promised prohibition of liquor is immersed in liquor scam.
The PM said that- I have come from the abode of Mata Kaushalya and the maternal birthplace of Lord Ram to make people aware. Some people want to break the Sanatan culture out of greed for power.
Before this rally, in a government program he dedicated railway projects worth Rs 6350 crore to the country. Also laid the foundation stone of ‘Critical Care Block’ with 50 beds in 9 districts of Chhattisgarh.

‘Lagging behind in poor welfare, Congress ahead in corruption’
Poor families of Chhattisgarh are not able to get the benefit of PM Awas due to Congress government. Congress only does politics of scams and keeps making false claims. The Congress government is lagging behind in poor welfare and moving ahead in corruption.
‘Using public money like ATM’
Congress promised prohibition of liquor to the sisters of Chhattisgarh. But he committed fraud in liquor only. Congress committed corruption in cow dung itself. The corrupt government did not even spare the mineral wealth. Congress is using mineral wealth like ATM. My family members, the track record of Congress and the track record of BJP is in front of you.
‘Congress gave this slogan 50 years ago’
50 years ago, during Indira ji’s time, Congress had given the slogan of eradicating poverty. Even today she is doing politics with the same slogan. If Congress had worked at that time, Modi would not have had to work so hard. BJP took out the middlemen and passed on the full benefits to the beneficiaries.

Shyamlal Som and Ramadhin Gond: Whom the PM mentioned
Shyamlal Som was born in Dhamtari district. A forest Satyagraha took place in 1922 in the Dhamtari Sihawa area. This was led by Shyamlal Som. He is also considered the first Jungle Satyagrahi. He belonged to the tribal Halba community.
Similarly, Ramadhin Gond belongs to Dhamtari district. On 21 January 1930, a Satyagraha movement took place at Churiya in Rajnandgaon district. There were one and a half to two thousand people. Budhlal Sahu was leading. He was arrested. Then Ramadhin came forward and led. Ramadhin Gond was shot in this movement. He was martyred.
Railway projects dedicated to the country
Before the Shankhnad rally, the Prime Minister dedicated important railway sector projects worth about Rs 6350 crore to the nation. In this, the third rail line between Pendra Road and Anuppur is 50 km long. It has been constructed at a cost of approximately Rs 516 crore. Also, the 98 km long third railway line between Champa and Jamga railway section has been constructed at a cost of about Rs 796 crore.
The MGR (merry-go-round) system connecting the Talaipalli coal mine to NTPC Lara Super Thermal Power Station (STPS) is also included. The MGR system, built at a cost of over Rs 2070 crore, is designed to improve coal transportation from coal mines to power stations.
In the inauguration-foundation stone laying programme, he said that today Chhattisgarh is taking big steps towards development. Many schemes have been launched today to improve the health sector. The heads of many countries who attended the G-20 have been impressed by India. Chhattisgarh has also played a role in making G-20 successful.
Laying of foundation stone of critical care block
The Prime Minister also laid the foundation stone of 50-bed ‘Critical Care Block’ in nine districts of Chhattisgarh. Under the Prime Minister-Ayushman Bharat Health Infrastructure Mission, 9 Critical Care Blocks will be constructed in the districts of Durg, Kondagaon, Rajnandgaon, Gariaband, Jashpur, Surajpur, Surguja, Bastar and Raigarh at a total cost of Rs 210 crore.
Also distribution of one lakh sickle cell counseling cards to the population screened for sickle cell disease.
PM Modi never discriminated
Welcoming the Prime Minister, Chhattisgarh Deputy Chief Minister TS Singhdev said that 1 in every 10 people is suffering from sickle cell. I thank the work that is being done by the Center for these. The State performed all those responsibilities which are within the scope of the State. We will take the federal structure forward in this manner.
I didn’t feel discriminated against. As a partner, as a right hand, the Center has never been tight. We will continue to take this federal structure forward in the times to come. We will develop through joint participation in all areas. I express my gratitude to the Prime Minister.
G-20 meeting did not take place and Prime Minister Modi made a mistake while being congratulated. He said in the meeting that Chhattisgarh welcomed the representatives of G20 countries so grandly that the country was overwhelmed. The culture here went all over the world. He said that Chhattisgarh successfully organized G20 in Nava Raipur. Whereas G20 meeting has not taken place in Chhattisgarh yet. The G20 group meeting is to be held in Chhattisgarh from September 18. Preparations for this are going on now. PM was given wrong information related to G20.
