Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel laid the foundation stone of three important projects in Sector-35 of Nava Raipur Atalnagar on Tuesday. These include ‘Commercial Hub’, Aerocity and ‘Shaheed Memorial’. During this, the CM announced that Rs 540 will be given to the businessmen in the commercial hub here. Land will be given in square feet.
‘Commercial Hub’ is being developed on 1083 acres in Sector-23, 24, 34, 35 and 40 in Nava Raipur. The objective of this hub is to promote investment, settlement and commercial activity. Under this, an announcement has been made for businessmen.
Similarly, to promote passenger facilities, develop the airport area and increase employment in Layer-3 of Nava Raipur, ‘Aerocity’ is being developed in 216.63 acres of identified villages of Baroda and Ramchandi near Swami Vivekananda Airport.Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel. In his address on this occasion, he said that today is a very special day because the foundation stone of the country’s largest wholesale commercial market is being laid today in Nava Raipur, Chhattisgarh, which will also provide employment to lakhs of people of the state. The Chief Minister said that keeping in view the coming future, these Bhoomi Pujan, foundation stone laying and inauguration are being done. The people of the state had expectations from us, to realize which we have taken a strong step forward.
1000 wholesale commercial shops will be constructed in the first phase
In the first phase of the commercial hub, a provision has been made to give land to 20 businessmen for the development of about 1,000 wholesale shops. In which space has been earmarked for wholesale grocery, incense sticks, wholesale gunny bags, pulses mill and paper trade.
The state government has made a provision of Rs 5 crore for the development of the commercial hub. City level infrastructure of the ‘Commercial Hub’ and development in 125 acres of the first phase will be done at an amount of Rs 195.51 crore.
The land identified for this project is on National Highway no. 30 and is near the allotment of Bharat Mala project and the land also has railway connectivity. The allotted land is about 12 km from Swami Vivekananda Airport. is far. The identified land is in Nimora, Upwara, Parasathi, Bendri, Kendri, Jhanki and Mudpar. According to the information, after taking opinion polls and surveys from about 7743 different wholesale trade associations, the market demand has been assessed, on the basis of which demand assessment and product mix has been determined. Based on the availability of land and priority of commercial activities, a commercial cluster-wise zoning plan has been prepared on a total of 1,083 acres, which will be developed in a phased manner.
Aerocity will have commercial institutions, shopping complexes, hotels
Aerocity is being developed near Swami Vivekananda Airport in Layer-3 of Naya Raipur Atal Nagar to promote passenger facilities, commercial development and employment of the airport area. Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel had announced the establishment of Aerocity on 26 January 2023 on the occasion of Republic Day.
About 216.63 acres of land has been identified in villages Baroda and Ramchandi of Nava Raipur for Aerocity. Since the identified land includes privately owned land, it has been decided to develop the Aerocity project on the lines of the city development plan. In the first phase, it has been decided to develop about 24.85 acres of land. Out of 15.45 acres of government land, there are 4 commercial buildings ranging from 0.62 acres to 3.01 acres, 1 shopping complex of 0.82 acres and 1 hotel of 1.44 acres. Is proposed. The state government has made a provision of Rs 2 crore in the budget for the development of Aerocity.
Martyr’s Memorial reminds of martyrdom
VIP in village Parsada (Sector-3) of Nava Raipur Atal Nagar area. 42.931 acres of land has been identified for the battalion. Out of this, a martyr’s memorial will be established in 13 acres.
In this proposed project, Martyr Memorial will be constructed in about 7 acres of land, walls in the name of 2700 martyrs, Chhattisgarh Amar Jawan Jyoti Memorial will be constructed in about 6 acres of land, Memorial Museum in 1500 square meter area, Parade Ground for 21 Platoon, Bugler Platform, approx. There will be a gallery for 400 spectators, special guest gallery in 40 square meters, barrack for 60 soldiers in 1400 square meters and arrangements for parking, fountain, irrigation etc. The state government has approved Rs 47.75 crore for this.
