Krishi Bhavan with full facilities will be built on 3.14 acres at a cost of Rs 49 crore 50 lakh in Sector 19.
Krishi Bhawan will have the directorates of all the departments related to agriculture, agriculture, agricultural engineering, horticulture and field forestry, water catchment management, livestock development, fisheries.

Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel today performed the bhoomi pujan of the new Chhattisgarh Krishi Bhawan to be built on 3.14 acres at a cost of Rs 49 crore 50 lakh in Sector 19 of Nava Raipur. After performing the rituals, the Chief Minister laid the foundation stone of the new Krishi Bhavan and prayed to Mother Earth for the prosperity of the state and prosperity of the farmers. Shri Baghel also planted the sapling of Swarn Champa in the premises marked for Chhattisgarh Krishi Bhawan. On this occasion, the Chief Minister took information related to the construction of the new Krishi Bhavan from the officials of the Agriculture Department and also learned about the facilities provided to the farmers due to its construction. He congratulated all the departmental officers for the new building.
Agriculture Development and Farmers Welfare, Biotechnology Minister Mr. Tamradhwaj Sahu, Panchayat and Rural Development Minister Mr. Ravindra Choubey, Chhattisgarh Building and Other Construction Workers Board President Mr. Sushil Sunny Aggarwal, Chief Minister’s Advisor Mr. Pradeep Sharma, Agriculture Production Commissioner Dr. Kamalpreet Singh, Managing Director Godhan Nyaya Mission Dr. Fakir Ayaz Tamboli, Inspector General of Police Mr. Ratan Lal Dangi, Director Agriculture and Livestock Mrs. Chandan Tripathi, Deputy Secretary Mrs. Tulika Prajapati and officers and employees of the department were present.
It is noteworthy that the five-storey ‘Chhattisgarh Krishi Bhawan’ will be constructed on 3.14 acres in Sector-19 of Nava Raipur. Krishi Bhavan will house all the departments related to agriculture – Directorate of Agriculture, Agricultural Engineering, Horticulture and Field Forestry, Watershed Management, Livestock Development, Fisheries. The offices of the Agriculture Minister and Agriculture Production Commissioner will also be established in the building. The construction of Integrated Agriculture Building will increase the coordination between the supporting institutions of the department, which will speed up the agricultural development work and it will be possible to solve the problems of the farmers coming from all over the state under one roof. In future, Krishi Bhavan will be developed as an ‘Integrated Resource Centre’ for the development of agriculture sector.
