According to the announcement of Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel, the state government has approved the amount for the next one year as per the increase in honorarium of the sanitation didis working under Mission Clean City Scheme in Municipal Corporation, Municipality and Nagar Panchayats from the month of September 2023.
It is noteworthy that Chief Minister Mr. Baghel had announced increase in the honorarium of Swachhata Didis on 15 August 2023, on the occasion of Independence Day.
According to the increase in the honorarium of Swachhata Didis, the state government approved an amount of Rs 79 crore 76 lakh 44 thousand 800 for honorarium for 9232 manpower for the next one year (from 01 October 2023 to 30 September 2024) from the rate of Rs 7200. Went.
An order to this effect has been issued by the Urban Administration and Development Department today from the Ministry. The Urban Administration Department has instructed the urban bodies to take immediate necessary action for advance withdrawal of the remaining amount of octroi compensation item for the financial year 2023-24 to meet the mandatory liabilities.
