Shubman Gill was out after scoring 58 runs. He completed the eighth fifty of his ODI career. Gill hit 10 fours in 52 balls. Rohit completed his 50th half-century by hitting a six over midwicket.
Indian captain Rohit Sharma scored the 50th half-century of his ODI career. He completed his half-century by hitting a six over midwicket. He was out after scoring 56 runs on 49 balls. He hit 6 fours and 4 sixes. The openers made the second consecutive century partnership.
Rohit Sharma and Shubman Gill gave India a fast start. Both of them made a fifty partnership in the first powerplay itself. After the powerplay, Rohit Sharma hit 3 sixes and a four against Shadab Khan. Rohit completed the 50th fifty of his career, but became the victim of Shadab Khan after scoring 56 runs.
With Rohit’s wicket, his 121-run partnership with Shubman was broken. Both of them had made a century partnership of 147 runs against Nepal in the last match. This is the 5th century partnership of Rohit-Gill.
