Some relaxation given to smooth operation of activities in public interest.
Dhamtari 05 June 2020 .Bathena Ward, Stationpara, Vallabhbhai Patel Ward, Sundarganj Ward, Industrial Ward and Gram Panchayat Kukrel of Adhari Nawagaon and Nagri development blocks have been declared as contention zones to prevent infection of the corona virus. Besides, villages Khampri and Bhanpuri of Dhamtari development block have been declared as buffer zones. Collector and District Magistrate Shri Jai Prakash Maurya has issued a general directive in the Containment Zone, to ease the conduct of activities in public interest as per the requirement. According to the information received, all commercial establishments in the Containment Zone will operate from 07 am to 02 pm, but medical stores, petrol pumps, banks, ATMs, government fair price shops, manure-seeds, agricultural equipment, medicine Will operate within its normal set time period. Similarly the use of N-95 masks will be mandatory in the Containment Zone. It has been clearly stated that if it is found to be violated, restrictive action will be taken under Section 188.
It has been told that the outward movement of the outsider to the containment zone will be completely restricted, but if the resident of the same store is in the containment zone, then the District Magistrate has given permission to keep his establishment operating. The medical department will provide medical assistance as per rules by informing the concerned subdivisional magistrate for the supply of medical essential goods and services. In the Containment Zone, the necessary items will be supplied by the district administration, fruits and vegetables can be supplied by rotating them by the carts identified by the administration. If a corona case positive is found in a family in the Containment Zone, then the whole family will be in isolation, they will not be allowed to open, move and transact in any establishment. District Magistrate informed that intensive contact tracing, house to house surveillance and other clinical interviews will be done as per requirement. Persons from other states will be completely banned from entering the container zone. Schools, colleges, coaching classes, anganwadis and all government offices will be closed here. After the declaration of a village panchayat’s container zone, the farmers will be able to do their personal work, but the work related to MNREGA will be stopped. Scavengers will work in the containment zone by applying masks and globs. The bank will use social distancing – sanitizer and N-95 masks and will be washed daily by bank employees. In the Containment Area for the Bank, it has been clarified that the banks will operate in their normal time and the businessmen will be able to transact in the Bank of this Containment Zone, but only ATMs will be used by the residents in the Containment Area.
