Selling meat will be banned in Raipur due to several religious festivals in the month of September. For this, an order has been issued in Municipal Corporation Raipur. According to which, from September 7 to September 30, there will be a ban on selling non-veg on different days. During this period, animal slaughter houses will also remain closed. For this, the Urban Administration and Development Department has also given instructions to the corporation.
These 7 days will be no non-veg days
According to the Corporation’s Deputy Health Commissioner AK Haldar, Shri Krishna Janmashtami on September 7, first day of Paryushan festival on September 12, Ganesh Chaturthi on September 19, last day of Paryushan festival on September 20, Dol Gyaras on September 25, Anant Chaturdashi on September 28 and Paryushan festival on September 30 In Raipur, on the occasion of Samvatsari and Uttam Kshama, slaughterhouses and shops selling meat and mutton will have to be closed.
During this, all the zone health officers and sanitation inspectors of Raipur Municipal Corporation have been asked to keep vigil. Despite this, if any shopkeeper is found selling meat, his goods will be confiscated. Besides, action will also be taken against that person.
