2087 pregnant mothers of Mahasamund got benefits

Beneficiaries are being benefited from the schemes of the Labor Department under the Government of Chhattisgarh. Proper care is also being taken of the health of children and mothers through the Mahtari Jatan Yojana for pregnant mothers. In Mahasamund district, 2087 beneficiaries have been benefited from Mini Mata Mahtari Jatan Yojana. Mrs. Pramila Yadav, a resident of Subhash Nagar of Mahasamund district, who took advantage of the scheme, said that an assistance of Rs 20,000 was provided under the scheme. She told that her husband is a registered laborer in Reza category under Chhattisgarh Building and other construction workers welfare board. Appreciating the scheme, Pramila said that under the Labor Department, the amount received from the Mini Mata Mahtari Jatan Yojana is being used for the living and proper care of the children. It is becoming a big support for the pregnant women of labor families.
It is noteworthy that Chhattisgarh Government has started Mini Mata Mahtari Jatan Yojana to provide assistance to pregnant women. Under the scheme, assistance is provided to pregnant women. Those who work as laborers in building construction and construction work in the unorganized sector or whose husbands work as laborers. His wife is given the benefit of the scheme.
