The 3-day district level Chhattisgarhia Olympic Games, held from September 04 to September 6, at the Government High School ground of district headquarters Janjgir-Champa, concluded today under the chief hospitality of Chhattisgarh Assembly Speaker Shri Charandas Mahant. In this three-day event, everyone from children to the elderly displayed their best sporting talent. On this occasion, the winners and other participants of the district level Chhattisgarhia Olympics were honored by the guests.
Addressing the Speaker of Chhattisgarh Assembly, Shri Charandas Mahant said that the district level Chhattisgarhia Olympics is concluding today. Chhattisgarh has a distinct identity, culture and tradition. People are forgetting these cultural traditions. This also includes our Chhattisgarh sports, which our government has revived through the Chhattisgarh Olympics. Players have enlivened Chhattisgarhian sports and culture with their excellent performance in rural and traditional sports. It will give very good results in the coming times. It is important to participate in sports. It is necessary to participate in this and develop brotherhood and unity.
President of Chhattisgarh Gau Seva Aayog, Rajeshree Mahant Dr. Ramsunder Das encouraged the winning players by congratulating them. He said that in the closing ceremony of the three-day Chhattisgarhia Olympic Games, all the sports are being displayed brilliantly. Chhattisgarhi Olympic Games are being organized in entire Chhattisgarh under the leadership of Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel. President of Chhattisgarh State Shakambari Board Shri Ramkumar Patel said in his address that Chhattisgarhia Olympics is being organized by our Chief Minister to promote traditional sports. He encouraged all the players involved in this and wished them all the best.
In this closing program, Chairman Municipal Council Janjgir-Naila Mr. Bhagwan Das Gadhewal, Chairman Municipal Council Champa Mr. Jai Thawait, Member Food Commission Mrs. Jyoti Kishan Kashyap, Member Animal Welfare Board Mr. Narayan Khandelia, Member Labor Welfare Board Mr. Harprasad were present.
