ED raids are being seen continuously in Chhattisgarh. ED is conducting raids on the locations of big officials and businessmen in the state. ED team has raided the hospital operator. Raids were conducted at Jubesta Hospital in Devendranagar and the house of its director Dr. AR Dalla.
ED team along with CRPF force entered the house and seized the phones of all the family members. However, this investigation could not be officially confirmed till late night. It is being told that cash and jewelry have been found during the investigation. Apart from this, many documents have also been seized by the ED team. Dr. Dalla’s hospital also operates in front of his residence.
According to the information received, ED has found the link of Dr. Dalla during the investigation of money laundering and hawala in betting. After this the team reached the hospital and home for investigation. Investigation into his hawala connection is also going on. He is being interrogated at his house. Dr. Dalla was also active in the State Sickle Cell Institute at one time. DMF funds have also been used in the Sickle Cell Institute. These days ED is also investigating the DMF scam. Before this action, ED has started investigation of DMF. In which, after a long interrogation of IAS Ranu Sahu, lodged in Raipur jail, the ED team reached Korba on Friday-Saturday. There investigation was conducted in different branches of the Collectorate.
Some documents have been seized from the Mineral, Tribal Department and Registry Office. The employees there have been interrogated. ED team will leave for Raigarh after Korba. ED has taken information from the government about the work done under DMF in 33 districts.
