President Smt. Draupadi Murmu launches ‘Year of Positive Change – 2023’ of Prajapita Brahma Kumaris Ishwariya Vishwavidyalaya

Jai Johar, Chhattisgarhia is the best. I got the opportunity to meet you all on the soil of Chhattisgarh. My wish was fulfilled today. There is a saying that Chhattisgarhia is the best, through such proverbs the truth that has been going on for centuries is told in mere words. This was stated by President Smt. Draupadi Murmu on the occasion of the inauguration ceremony of the annual project Positive Change Year 2023 of Prajapita Brahmakumari Ishwariya Vishwavidyalaya located at Shanti Sarovar, Raipur here today.
The President said that along with science and technology, life becomes filled with joy if spirituality is also included in life. Our new generation is very talented. Sometimes they get frustrated due to lack of patience. They have to be told that if you work hard with patience and full confidence in the field of your interest, then you definitely get success. Brahma Kumaris family has always been striving for this so that we can face adversity with better understanding.
The President said that the Brahma Kumari family is doing a great job for the welfare of the entire humanity. I congratulate you for this. This program has started in Odisha for positive change and I am here today among all of you. I’ve already been here. Thank you all for calling again.
He said that on one hand our country is reaching new heights every day, hoisting the tricolor on the moon and creating records in world class sports. Our countrymen are setting many new records. On the other hand, there is a very serious matter, a few days ago two students preparing for NEET ended their lives, their dreams, their future. Such incidents should not happen rather we should take competition positively. There is always victory and defeat. The President said that children are under pressure of competition but their career is as important as theirs. It is equally important that they can face the challenges of life boldly. With the help of positive theme, we can help those children who get disappointed at such junctures.
On this occasion, the President also shared his experiences related to spirituality. He said that Brahmakumari organization has supported me a lot in my spiritual journey also. I used to go to him when I had difficulties in my life. I liked the path of Brahmakumaris very much. You can live your life in a better way by working with ease. He teaches the art of living life.
He said that today we all are living in the era of technology. Children are talking about Artificial Intelligence but it is also important to spend some time of the day away from mobile phones.
In his address, Governor Shri Vishwabhushan Harichandan said that positive change means such change which benefits the individual, family, society and nation. When a society adopts positive change, it becomes stronger. We all know that change is the law of nature. The conservative and traditionalist society which does not want to change its beliefs and traditions gets cut off from the mainstream. According to time and need, change becomes necessary in the society. When a storm blows, only the tree that knows how to bend remains safe. Therefore we should adapt according to the circumstances. Your organization is playing a positive role in the work of social change through spiritual knowledge and Rajyoga.
Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel said in his address that the arrival of the President is a moment of great pride for the people of Chhattisgarh. On behalf of three crore citizens of Chhattisgarh, I thank him a lot for his visit. Today, we the people of Chhattisgarh are feeling special intimacy with the arrival of the head of the entire nation in the form of the President. It feels as if someone close to us has come to our own home. This state is a tribal state, a large number of Scheduled Caste and Other Backward Class people reside here. This is the spirit of the Constitution that all the deprived should get justice. We have been receiving spiritual guidance from Prajapita Brahma Kumari Ishwariya Vishwavidyalaya in the implementation of policies, schemes and programs of Chhattisgarh state.
