Chhattisgarh Madarsa Board Chairman Mr. Altaf Ahmed met Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel at the Chief Minister’s residence office premises and apprised him about the problems related to the pending honorarium of madrassa teachers. Regarding the pending honorarium, the Chairman of the Madrasa Board has told the Chief Minister that due to non-receipt of 60 per cent central share of honorarium of Madrasa teachers from the Central Government for the last 6 years, Madrasas are not getting even 40 per cent state share of the state government. Due to which the economic condition of the madrasa teachers is becoming pathetic.

Chhattisgarh Madarsa Board’s chairman has demanded to give 40 percent state share amount to madrassa teachers pending for 6 years. The Chief Minister has assured to provide 40 percent of the state’s share. Mr. Tauheed Khan, Mr. Ismail Ahmed and Mr. Pashi Ali were present on the occasion.
