Governor Mr. Vishwabhushan Harichandan has extended hearty greetings and best wishes to the people of the country and the state on the auspicious occasion of Raksha Bandhan. Governor Shri Harichandan has said in his message that this festival of Rakshabandhan is a symbol of unbreakable affection and love between brothers and sisters. On this day, sisters will tie the holy thread of Rakhi on the wrist of their brothers and wish for their welfare by applying Tilak and brothers will take a pledge to protect their sisters. Mr. Harichandan said that this festival should further strengthen the holy relationship between brother and sister and bring happiness, peace and prosperity in the family life of all the people of the state.
