Raipur: Chief Minister inaugurated Kauhi Lift Irrigation Scheme, 2500 hectares will be irrigated

Today, on the last Monday of the month of Shravan, Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel performed Jalabhishek at the ancient Shiva temple at Kauhi in Patan. Along with this, Kauhi Lift Irrigation Scheme made at a cost of 7 crores was also inaugurated. With this irrigation will be possible in 2500 hectare. Farmers of villages Kauhi, Borenda, Jarvay, Kesra, Khamharia, Danganiya, Tarrighat, Sonpur and Sipkona will get the benefit of irrigation from Kauhi lift irrigation scheme. It is noteworthy that on the occasion of his first visit to Kauhi, Chief Minister Mr. Baghel had announced to update the old lift irrigation scheme here. Under the scheme, the radius of the intake well which was earlier 6 meters has been increased to 12 meters. Whereas 150 H.P. Five VT pumps have been stalled. Due to which the capacity of lift irrigation has increased manifold. The lining work of the entire canal system has also been done. Due to increase in the capacity of Kauhi Lift Irrigation Scheme, relief has come to hundreds of farmers of this area. 
In the programme, Chief Minister Mr. Baghel distributed Khasra B-1, B-2 to 12 farmers of the area with his lotuses. Addressing the program, Chief Minister Mr. Baghel said that the blessings of Lord Bhole Nath should remain on the people of the state. He wished everyone a happy Sawan Monday. Irrigation facility is going to be expanded as per the demand of the residents. The Chief Minister said that the government is running schemes for the development of all sections. Working to revive cultural activities. The state has got recognition from the schemes of the government. Chief Minister Mr. Baghel assured the beautification of the temple complex on the demand of the people. He called upon the people to provide opportunities of service for the development of the area. District Panchayat Vice President Mr. Ashok Sahu also addressed the program. Local public representatives and a large number of people were present on the occasion.
