Recommendation received for the creation of 50 new posts in the Water Resources Department
Posts have been created for ‘State Dam Safety Organization’

Creation of 50 posts has been recommended for ‘State Dam Safety Organisation’ under Water Resources Department. These include one post each of Superintending Engineer (Civil) and Superintending Engineer (Electrical/Mechanical) along with one post of Chief Engineer. Under the ‘State Dam Safety Organization Dam Safety Act 2021’, these posts have been created for the ‘State Dam Safety’ organization formed for the prevention of dam related disasters, monitoring of dams, inspection of dams along with their operation and maintenance. A meeting of the post creation committee was held on August 3 in this regard.
Other posts created include 3 for Executive Engineer (Civil), 2 for Executive Engineer (Electrical/Mechanical), 1 for Geologist (by deputation), 6 for Assistant Engineer (Civil), 3 for Assistant Engineer (Electrical/Mechanical), Personal Assistant One post of Assistant Cartographer (Civil), 6 of Assistant Cartographer (Electrical/Mechanical), 8 of Assistant Grade 3, 8 of Driver, 6 of Peon and one post of Farrash.
