Approval of Rs 33 crore received by the Finance Department, vehicles will be purchased soon
Under this useful scheme, all the districts of the state will be able to get emergency response in critical situations.

The police will get 400 new vehicles for the Dial 100/112 service, which serves as the Police Response Emergency Service in case of an emergency. Under the direction of Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel, the Finance Department has approved Rs 33 crore for its purchase. These vehicles will be sent to all the 33 districts of the state. In the year 2018, this scheme was implemented in 11 districts. For this, 252 vehicles were purchased. Most of the vehicles purchased in the year 2018 have completed their mileage and some vehicles will complete it in the next few months. In such a situation, there was a need for new vehicles to run this system smoothly and operate in all the districts.
According to the approval given by the government on the basis of the availability of vehicles on the Gem website and the rates, after the decision of the Central Purchase Committee, the purchase of vehicles will be done through online supply order in Gem.
It is worth mentioning that this service has proved to be very useful in emergency situations and through this, emergency help has been provided to the citizens in critical situations. Now with the addition of 400 additional vehicles under this service, this emergency service will be further strengthened and its benefits will be available to maximum citizens. It is worth mentioning that in view of the usefulness of this scheme, administrative approval has been given by the government to run it in the entire state and provision has been made for the purchase of new vehicles accordingly.
