Raipur: High Court Chief Justice Mr. Ramesh Sinha inspected Bhatapara and Balodabazar Courts

Chief Justice of Chhattisgarh High Court, Bilaspur Mr. Ramesh Sinha reached Bhatapara and Balodabazar for surprise inspection on August 23, 2023 after hearing the cases of the High Court. First of all, he inspected the Bhatapara Civil Court, at the time of inspection the judicial officers were hearing the cases. The arrangement of washrooms in the court premises was not found proper. It was informed by the administrative officer present there that 6.25 acres of land has been allotted by the government for the new court building, on which 06 new court rooms are to be constructed. On enquiry, it was also informed that Revise Estimate P.W.D. It has not been sent by the department, due to which the process of building construction is getting delayed. Collector Mr. Chandan Kumar, SSP Mr. Deepak Kumar Jha of District Balodabazar-Bhatapara were present at the time of inspection. The Chief Justice directed Collector Mr. Chandan Kumar to take immediate action in the above regard, on which Collector Mr. Chandan Kumar assured to submit the revised estimate within two days.
After inspection of Bhatapara, Chief Justice Mr. Sinha reached for surprise inspection of District Court, Balodabazar. He expressed satisfaction over the cleanliness, parking of vehicles, seating arrangement for advocates and waiting room for parties. The infrastructure of the court was found to be in line with the dignity of the court. The advocates respected the Chief Justice. The Chief Justice interacted with the advocates and inquired about their problems, after which he also held a meeting with the judicial officers and gave necessary instructions.
Registrar General Mr. Arvind Kumar Verma and Additional Registrar cum PPS Mr. MBLN Subrahmanyam were also present in the surprise inspection along with the Chief Justice.
It is worth mentioning that during his tenure of a few months, the Chief Justice, while physically inspecting most of the district courts of the state, has given necessary instructions to the officers to improve the infrastructure and system, as a result of which a radical change has also started appearing in the working system.
