Implementation of Rejuvenation-AYUSH to promote cleanliness and prevent infection in AYUSH institutions, Chhattisgarh is the first state in the country to do so

Deputy Chief Minister and Health and Family Welfare Minister T.S. On August 24, Singhdev will award 25 AYUSH institutions of the state for doing excellent work in promotion of cleanliness and prevention of infection. Under the National AYUSH Mission, Kayakalp-AYUSH is being implemented in the state to promote cleanliness in AYUSH institutions and to provide quality health facilities along with prevention of infection, as per the guidelines of the Union Ministry of AYUSH. Chhattisgarh is the first state in the country to do so.
Parliamentary Secretary Mr. Vinod Sevenlal Chandrakar and Mr. Vikas Upadhyay, Chairman of Chhattisgarh Housing Board Mr. Kuldeep Juneja, Chairman of Raipur Municipal Corporation Mr. Pramod at the Kayakalp-AYUSH Award ceremony organized at Hotel Babylon Capitol near VIP Chowk in Raipur from 11 am. Dubey, President of Raipur District Panchayat Mrs. Domeshwari Verma and Joint Secretary of Union Ministry of AYUSH Mrs. Kavita Garg will also be present. Dr. Kiran Pandit, faculty of NABH (National Accreditation Board for Hospitals & Healthcare Providers) will deliver a lecture on the topic ‘Importance and possibilities of quality upgradation in AYUSH institutions’.
Through Kayakalp-AYUSH, the AYUSH institutions of the state have been motivated to improve the quality of hygiene, infection control and health services by creating a healthy and transparent competition among them to follow high service quality standards. After their evaluation in four stages, 25 AYUSH institutions of the state, which were found to be excellent, have been selected for the award. In order to provide better health facilities to the patients, the AYUSH Department of the State Government is also encouraging the AYUSH institutions here for standardization of various quality standards NABH, NQAS (National Quality Assurance Standard) certification etc.
