Chhattisgarh Vigyan SabhaOrganized a lecture on Mission Chandrayaan at Government Dani Girls Higher Secondary School, Raipur. This program was organized by Vigyan Sabha to explain the importance and achievements of India’s space mission and to generate interest in science among the students. Director General of Chhattisgarh Regional Science Center Shri S.S. Bajaj attended as the chief guest.

Former Vice Chancellor of Pandit Ravi Shankar Shukla Vishwavidyalaya Prof. S.K. Pandey gave a lecture about Chandrayaan mission one, two and three through power point presentation. On this occasion Prof. Pandey answered questions related to ISRO’s Chandrayaan mission, its equivalent lunar missions of other countries and space. The chief guest of this popular science lecture was Director General of Chhattisgarh Regional Science Center S.S. Bajaj told about the work being done for the use of space technology in Chhattisgarh with the help of the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO). Apart from this, he informed about various popular science programs conducted by the Chhattisgarh Council of Science and Technology among students and common people. Shri Vishwas Rao Meshram, Executive President of Vigyan Sabha told that the soft landing of the rover of Mission Chandrayaan-3 on the south pole of the Moon will take place on the evening of August 23 at 6.00 am. It is possible at 04 minutes. If this is successful, India will be the first country in the world to reach the south pole of the moon. After the failure of Russia’s Luna 25 mission, space scientists from all over the world are watching this Chandrayaan-3 mission with great hope. On this occasion, Convenor of Vigyan Sabha Raipur unit, Anju Meshram, Professor of Pandit Ravi Shankar University Raipur, Dr. Laxmikant Chavre also expressed their views.
