Director General of Police Mr. Juneja while addressing the cyber nodal police officers and police officers in charge of district cyber cells from all the districts of the state in the training program said that keeping in view the increasing number of crimes like cyber crime, cheating and blackmailing, the police officers should Need to be more vigilant. He said that apart from the IT Act, the Data Protection Act 2023 has also come into force. In this, provisions have been made to deal with the increasing cases of cyber fraud and to arrest the criminals and get them punished by the court, these provisions will help in punishing the cyber criminals.
    Mr. Juneja directed all police officers that updated information in cases of cyber fraud should be available in both hard and soft copy so that the complaint of the applicant or complainant can be resolved as soon as possible. He should act expeditiously by coordinating with the police officers of other states to curb the crimes committed by cyber criminals sitting in other states and arrest the criminals.
    On this occasion, Additional Director General of Police Mr. Pradeep Gupta said in his address that catching the criminal, collecting evidence and presenting the criminal before the court to punish him is a big challenge for the police, so it is very important for the police to be trained in the latest way. Is. He expressed hope that the training imparted by the officers of financial institutions like Google and Paytm would prove useful for the police officers. In the training program, LERS (Law Enforcement Request System) Portal, Fraud, Emergency Request, Fraud Trend, Business, Transaction, by a team of trained officials from Google and Paytm Gave detailed information on monitoring related topics. In the afternoon, the Paytm team explained in detail about the working of online banking and the steps taken by Paytm to prevent cybercrime.
