According to the information compiled by the State Level Control Room set up by the State Government’s Revenue and Disaster Management Department, the state has recorded an average rainfall of 697.3 mm since June 1, 2023. According to the rainfall recorded in various districts of the state from June 01, 2023 to today, August 21 morning, the highest average rainfall of 1234.1 mm has been recorded in Bijapur district and the lowest average rainfall of 325.2 mm in Surguja district. According to the information received from the state level flood control room, since June 1, an average rainfall of 609.2 mm has been recorded in Surajpur district, 627.8 mm in Balrampur, 556.2 mm in Jashpur, 667.8 mm in Korea, 680.2 mm in Manendragarh-Chirmiri-Bharatpur.
Similarly, 810.0 mm in Raipur district, 691.2 mm in Balodabazar, 638.5 mm in Gariaband, 736.2 mm in Mahasamund, 717.4 mm in Dhamtari, 720.0 mm in Bilaspur, 860.3 mm in Mungeli, 777.9 mm in Raigarh, 621.0 mm in Sarangarh-Bilaigarh. Average rainfall was recorded in Janjgir-Champa 593.1 mm, Sakti 591.0 mm, Korba 679.4 mm, Gorela-Pendra-Marwahi 683.9 mm, Durg 569.4 mm. 548.3 mm in Kabirdham district, 777.5 mm in Rajnandgaon, 893.6 mm in Mohla-Manpur-Ambagarh Chowki, 717.7 mm in Khairagarh-Chhuikhadan-Gandai, 757.7 mm in Balod, 544.1 mm in Bemetara, 714.0 mm in Bastar, 612.8 mm in Kondagaon, Average rainfall has been recorded in Kanker 664.4 mm, Narayanpur 624.4 mm, Dantewada 810.2 mm and Sukma 1022.4 mm since June 1.
