Raipur. Jun 01, 2020, @the-journalist.com The Bhupesh Baghel government on Monday made a change in the scope of 4 IPS officers. After this, IPS Neha Champawat has been made special secretary of Home Department. Neha Champawat will be the first woman home secretary of Chhattisgarh. She is a 2004 batch IPS officer. However, his appointment is temporary. Right now IPS Arun Dev Gautam is looking after the Home Secretary. The General Administration Department has issued orders.
IPS Neha Champawat Mahasamund posted as Superintendent of Police and then DIG of Surguja Range. During this time he did special work for the upliftment of women and schoolgirls. In addition to making women and girls self-reliant, training was also conducted on self-protection. The initiative of IPS Champawat has also started providing weekly leave to policemen.
Now EoW also has responsibility with SSP
Raipur’s SSP Arif Sheikh’s stature has been enhanced. The state government has also handed over the additional charge of EOW and ACB, giving them a big responsibility. So far, IPS (State Economic Offenses Wing) IPS GP Singh has been sent back to the Home Department. He has been posted as ADG at Police Headquarters.
While IG Police Headquarters IPS Pradeep Gupta has been temporarily appointed as Director, Public Prosecution. Along with this, he has also been given additional responsibility of Director, State Judicial Science Laboratory. Till now, IPS Gurjinder Pal Singh was also in charge of the State Judicial Science Laboratory.
