According to the information compiled by the State Level Control Room set up by the State Government’s Revenue and Disaster Management Department, the state has recorded an average rainfall of 696.1 mm since June 1, 2023. According to the rainfall recorded in different districts of the state from June 01, 2023 to today, August 20 morning, the highest average rainfall of 1233.1 mm has been recorded in Bijapur district and the lowest average rainfall of 324.4 mm in Surguja district.
According to the information received from the state level flood control room, since June 1, an average rainfall of 607.5 mm has been recorded in Surajpur district, 627.8 mm in Balrampur, 555.9 mm in Jashpur, 667.8 mm in Korea, 679.9 mm in Manendragarh-Chirmiri-Bharatpur.
Similarly, 810.0 mm in Raipur district, 690.9 mm in Balodabazar, 638.4 mm in Gariaband, 734.0 mm in Mahasamund, 717.4 mm in Dhamtari, 719.6 mm in Bilaspur, 860.1 mm in Mungeli, 775.6 mm in Raigarh, 609.1 mm in Sarangarh-Bilaigarh. Average rainfall was recorded in Janjgir-Champa 587.7 mm, Sakti 590.4 mm, Korba 678.1 mm, Gorela-Pendra-Marwahi 682.4 mm, Durg 569.1 mm. 547.9 mm in Kabirdham district, 775.9 mm in Rajnandgaon, 891.2 mm in Mohla-Manpur-Ambagarh Chowki, 716.9 mm in Khairagarh-Chhuikhadan-Gandai, 757.6 mm in Balod, 543.8 mm in Bemetara, 713.3 mm in Bastar, 544.6 mm in Kondagaon, Kanker recorded 664.0 mm, Narayanpur 623.8 mm, Dantewada 809.0 mm and Sukma 1022.4 mm average rainfall since June 1.
