Public will get direct benefit from administrative decentralization by the government

Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel inaugurated the new Tehsil Kapu through video conferencing on the occasion of Sadbhavna Diwas, the birth anniversary of former Prime Minister late Mr. Rajiv Gandhi, for strengthening and all-round development of administrative units in the district.
In the virtual inauguration program, Dharamjaygarh MLA Mr. Laljit Singh Rathia said that with the formation of new tehsil of Kapu, the people here will get facilities for revenue related and other works and work will be done easily. The general public will get the direct benefit of administrative decentralization by the government.
The geographical boundaries of new Tehsil Kapu are bounded by Tehsil Mainpat, District Surguja in the north and west, Tehsil Dharamjaigarh in the south, Tehsil Pathalgaon in the east, District-Jashpur in the east. The total number of villages in the newly formed Tehsil Kapu is 60. In which Gram Panchayat 41, whose area is 326.48 square kilometers. Total patwari halka number is 20. The total population percentage of the proposed tehsil is 62548.
District President Mr. Puneet Kumar Rathia, Vice President Mr. Ramesh Agarwal, SDM Mr. Digesh Patel, Dharamjaigarh Tehsildar Mr. Bhojkumar Dahria, Kapu Tehsildar Mr. Ujjwal Pandey, District CEO Mr. Shivkumar Tandon, RI, Patwari and a large number of public were present during the virtual program.
