Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel on August 20, on the occasion of “Harmony Day”, the birth anniversary of former Prime Minister Bharat Ratna late Mr. Rajiv Gandhi, in a program organized at Mahasamund’s High School ground at 12 noon, farmers, laborers, villagers and beneficiaries of other schemes including justice schemes. And the amount of Rs 2055.60 crore will be paid online to the cattle rearers. Assembly Speaker Dr. Charandas Mahant, Deputy Chief Minister Mr. T.S. Singhdev will be present in the program as a very special guest. Home Minister Shri Tamradhwaj Sahu will preside over the programme. Ministers of Chhattisgarh Government, Parliamentary Secretary, MLA, many people’s representatives will be present in the program including Lok Sabha MP Mr. Deepak Baij. 
Chief Minister Mr. Baghel will pay Rs 1810 crore as the second installment of the scheme to the beneficiaries of “Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana”. Including this amount, input subsidy of Rs 21 thousand 912 crore has been paid to 24.30 lakh farmers of Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana so far. Similarly, the Chief Minister will pay an amount of Rs 168.63 crore as the second installment to the beneficiaries of ‘Rajiv Gandhi Landless Agricultural Labor Justice Scheme’. Including this amount, Rs 758.03 crore has been paid so far to 5.6 lakh beneficiaries of the scheme. 
Mr. Baghel will transfer an amount of Rs 66.21 crore to ‘Rajiv Yuva Mitan Clubs’ in the programme. An amount of Rs 132.48 crore has been paid so far to 13 thousand 242 clubs formed in the state to connect the youth with creative activities. In this sequence, the Chief Minister will pay an amount of Rs 9.65 crore to the beneficiaries of ‘Godhan Nyaya Yojana’. Including this amount, Rs 551.31 crore has been paid to women self-help groups, Gauthan committees and villagers so far under the scheme. 
Mr. Baghel will transfer an amount of Rs 1.11 crore to gram panchayats of non-scheduled areas under ‘Chief Minister Parab Samman Nidhi Yojana’ in the programme. Including this amount, an amount of Rs 6.11 crore has been paid to 6,111 Gram Panchayats for celebrating local festivals. 

223 development works costing 655 crores will be inaugurated-foundation stone

Chief Minister Mr. Baghel will gift 223 development works costing Rs.655 crore to Mahasamund district during the programme. Out of these, 132 works costing Rs 71.08 crore will be inaugurated and Bhumi Pujan and foundation stone laying will be done for 91 works costing Rs 583 crore 92 lakh. In this programme, the Chief Minister will lay the foundation stone for the construction work of the medical college of Mahasamund to be built at a cost of Rs 322 crore 85 lakh. Along with this, Bhumi Pujan will be done for various works costing Rs 118.42 crore to be started in various urban bodies of the district.

    During the programme, Chief Minister Mr. Baghel will flag off 50 mobile veterinary units, 7 for Mahasamund district and 43 for other districts of the division, and give individual forest rights letters and community forest resource rights to the beneficiaries . Will hand over the letter.

Inauguration of 18 new tehsils and 13 sub-divisional offices

The Chief Minister will also inaugurate 18 new tehsils and 13 subdivisional offices through video conference. Including these, there will be 122 revenue subdivisions and 250 tehsils in 33 districts of the state.
    Stalls based on departmental schemes have been set up by the Department of Agriculture, Education, Health, Urban Body, Sports and Youth Welfare, Tribal Development, Forest Department, Panchayat, Employment, Antyavasai, Women and Child Development and Social Welfare Department in the development exhibition at the venue. . The Chief Minister will distribute materials and checks to the beneficiaries in these stalls.
