Competition will run till 23 August
Competition will be held at development block and urban cluster level

The third phase of Chhattisgarhia Olympics will start from August 18 with development block and city cluster level competition. This competition will be held in the second phase between the zone level winning participants and teams. The contest will end on August 23. In the first phase, the Rajiv Yuva Mitan club level competition was organized from July 17 to July 22 and in the second phase, the zone level competition was organized from July 26 to July 31. On the initiative of Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel, Chhattisgarh Olympics were started in the year 2022 with the aim of encouraging traditional sports of Chhattisgarh, spreading awareness about sports and providing opportunities to players. The first Chhattisgarhi Olympics had received unprecedented popularity and old people, children and women from villages to cities took part in it enthusiastically. There is a lot of enthusiasm among the people about the ongoing Chhattisgarh Olympics.
In the third phase of the Chhattisgarh Olympics, the winners and teams of the zone level competition of rural areas will participate in the development block level competition and the winning participants and teams of the zone level competition of urban areas will participate in the urban cluster level competition. In the urban level competition, in the districts where there are municipal corporations, this competition will be held at the municipal headquarters at the urban cluster level, which will be considered equivalent to the development block level. Zone level winners of all Nagar Panchayats of the district and municipal area jointly considered to be included in the virtual municipal corporation area will participate in the corporation level competition in the virtual municipal corporation organized in a suitable urban body.
Rajiv Yuva Mitan After the competition at club level, zone level and development block and urban cluster level, in the fourth phase it will be organized at the district level from 27 August to 04 September, in the fifth phase at the divisional level from 10 September to 20 September and in the last at the state level. Level competitions will be held. Which will be organized from 25 September to 27 September.
The traditional sports competition of Chhattisgarh is being organized in two categories, team and single. Games like Gilli Danda, Pittool, Sankhali, Langdi Run, Kabaddi, Kho-Kho, Tug of War and Banti (Kancha) have been included in the Chhattisgarhia Olympics in the team category. And the sports of single category include billas, fugdi, cart race, bhanvra, 100 meter race, long jump, rope jump and wrestling.
