The 11-member representative committee headed by the Chief Executive Member of Bodoland Territorial Area Mr. Pramod Boro, during its stay in Chhattisgarh, on Thursday reviewed various income-generating activities being conducted in the Rural Industrial Park (RIPA) operating in Serikhedi, Lakhauli and Kosrangi of Arang development block. Took stock First Shri Pramod Boro reached Multi Utility Center located at Serikhedi, where he Soap Unit, Tattoo Unit, Embroidery Art, Rakhi Manufacturing Bakery Unit, Nursery Unit, Packet Drinking Water Unit, Narva, Gobar Paint Unit, Bihan Canteen, Mixture Manufacturing Unit, Handloom Unit Visited Stitching Unit, Anganwadi Center, Pearl Production and Fish Breeding Unit. On this occasion, Joint Secretary of Panchayat and Rural Development Department and Nodal of State RIPA Dr. Gaurav Singh was also present.
Mr. Pramod Boro, Chief Executive Member of Bodoland said that we are continuously working towards promoting the rural economy and providing employment to the people at the local level itself. We had heard praise for the work being done on Rural Industrial Park and Multi Utility Center in Chhattisgarh, today we also saw it. After this I can say that RIPA is an important initiative to prevent people from migrating.
Shri Pramod Boro said that our focus in Bodoland is to provide employment to the local and strengthen the economy of the villages. Chhattisgarh government is doing this work very well. From production to marketing, work is being done in a systematic manner at one place. This is a good way of providing employment at the local level. RIPA is the result of the good thinking of the Government of Chhattisgarh. More than 42 thousand self-help groups are working in the districts falling in our Bodoland territorial area. The Government of Chhattisgarh is conducting all the activities well through Ripa, 300 Ripa have been prepared in Chhattisgarh and such products are being made which are daily useful, which are constantly needed by the people. RIPA’s initiative is very good for local employment. I congratulate the Government of Chhattisgarh and all the people associated with RIPA for this creative thinking.
Manure, water, shed, grazing arrangements at a single place in Gauthan, good thinking
Lakhauli, Chief Executive Member of Bodoland Mr. Pramod Boro, in Ripa, Dona Patal Manufacturing Unit, Agarbatti Manufacturing Unit, Broom Manufacturing Unit, Hatchery Unit, Kumhar Gudi, Observed Electronic Scooty Assembling, Stationery and Printing Unit, Namkeen Unit, Lohar Gudi, Mochi Gudi, Sewing Unit, Rajak Gudi, Training Center, Free Wi-Fi Zone and took information. He also inspected the Gauthan here and said that very systematic arrangements have been made here for the animals. It is a good idea of the government to arrange manure, water, shed, grazing at one place in Gothan. Mr. Pramod also understood the process of organic fertilizer and compost production being made by the women here.
Appreciating the work of Bag Tailor in Kosrangi,
Mr. Pramod Boro, Chief Executive Member of Bodoland, saw the activities happening here during the observation of RIPA conducted in Gram Panchayat Kosrangi. He praised the products of the bag manufacturing unit and appreciated the work done by the tailors who make the bags. Shri Pramod visited the Furniture Unit, Detergent Manufacturing Unit, Lohar Gudi, Dona Pattal Unit, Pooja Samagri Manufacturing Unit, Sewing Machine Unit and Bag Manufacturing Unit established at Kosrangi Ripa.
