In order to have adequate arrangements in the shelters for the urban homeless, the capacity of the shelters will be determined accordingly by surveying the updated statistics of the urban homeless in the municipal corporations. Along with this, special attention will be given to the location in the identification of shelters. Shelters will be started at such places which are near to stations, bus stands, labor movement places. These instructions were given by the chairman of the committee Mr. Suyog Kumar Mishra in the meeting organized at the New Circuit House in the capital of the State Level Shelter Monitoring Committee. In the meeting, Mr. Mishra said that the shelter should be useful for the urban homeless coming here, basic infrastructure and necessary facilities should be available in it and its monitoring should be done from time to time.

Mr. Mishra said that adequate funding is also very important for the shelters so that they can ensure necessary facilities for the homeless coming here. For this, help can be taken from CSR and Destitute Fund. Many religious institutions, business organizations and chambers of commerce are willing to help the urban homeless. By contacting them, help can be taken for the facilities provided to the shelters. With such funding useful activities can start here. Creative activities can also be done in the shelters to help create a better environment here.
