Instructions to ensure.

Raipur, 31 May 2020. Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel has directed the Director General of Police to take special steps to relieve the mental tension of the police and paramilitary personnel. Mr. Baghel has said that many times, due to tension among the security forces personnel, due to mutual dispute on minor issues, violent incidents happen, for which their housemates have to regret their whole life which is a matter of serious concern.

The Chief Minister has said that the soldiers have to work in odd and challenging conditions. The workload in the jawans, distance from family and lack of entertainment, causes stress and depression, so it should be ensured that a conducive environment for the jawans is created. Counseling of stressed jawans should be done regularly with the help of psychologists. Yoga, sports activities and recreation tools should be made available for the jawans, so that their mental stress can be relieved. He said that it is necessary to simplify the process of discharging soldiers. Try to create such an atmosphere in the units of the soldiers that they feel like home and they do not feel lonely. Medical checkup of jawans should also be made from time to time.
