Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel participated in the program of World Tribal Day organized in Sitapur, Surguja
The Chief Minister gifted 269 development works worth Rs 334 crore to the people of the region.
A stage depicting the image of tribal culture was prepared in Sitapur.

Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel inaugurated and performed Bhumi Pujan of 269 development works worth Rs 334.23 crore in a grand state-level program organized at the stadium of Sitapur, development block headquarters of Surguja district today, on the occasion of World Tribal Day. Out of these works, Chief Minister Mr. Baghel inaugurated 136 works costing Rs 143.48 crore and did Bhumi Pujan and foundation stone of 133 works costing Rs 190.75 crore.
A stage depicting the image of tribal culture was prepared in Sitapur for the celebration of World Tribal Day. In this grand programme, more than 27 thousand beneficiaries received different gifts under various schemes of the state government. During this, departmental stalls equipped with special themes based on the image and schemes of tribal culture were displayed and wonderful cultural programs were also organized according to tribal tradition and customs.
