The state government has decided to celebrate World Tribal Day on August 09 on a large scale in Chhattisgarh, for which programs will be organized in all the district headquarters of the state. The Chief Guest for these programs is nominated by the General Administration Department of the Ministry. The names of Chief Minister, Speaker Chhattisgarh Legislative Assembly, Ministers, Parliamentary Secretaries, MLAs have been included in the chief guests. According to the nominated names, Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel will participate in the program of World Tribal Day organized in Surguja and Bastar.
Assembly Speaker Dr. Charandas Mahant in Janjgir-Champa district, Home Minister Mr. Tamradhwaj Sahu in Bilaspur district, Panchayat and Rural Development Mr. Ravindra Choubey in Durg district, Kabirdham (Kawardha) as chief guests in the program organized on the occasion of World Tribal Day. Forest and Transport Minister Mr. Mohammad Akbar will participate in the program of World Tribal Day. Urban Administration Minister Dr. Shiv Kumar Dahria in Raipur, Industries Minister Mr. Kawasi Lakhma in Sukma, Revenue Minister Mr. Jaisingh Agrawal in Korba, Women and Child Development Minister in Balod district Mrs. Anila Bhendia, Tribal Welfare Minister in Kondagaon Mr. Mohan Markam, Raigad Higher Education Minister Mr. Umesh Patel will participate in the program of World Tribal Day in the district.
