According to the information compiled by the State Level Control Room set up by the State Government’s Revenue and Disaster Management Department, the state has recorded an average rainfall of 602.5 mm since June 1, 2023. According to the rainfall recorded in various districts of the state from June 01, 2023 to today, August 07 morning, the highest average rainfall of 1067.5 mm has been recorded in Bijapur district and the lowest average rainfall of 290.1 mm in Surguja district.
According to the information received from the state level flood control room, since June 1, an average rainfall of 556.9 mm has been recorded in Surajpur district, 504.6 mm in Balrampur, 491.2 mm in Jashpur, 604.2 mm in Korea, 628.9 mm in Manendragarh-Chirmiri-Bharatpur.
Similarly, 733.3 mm in Raipur district, 627.4 mm in Balodabazar, 585.5 mm in Gariaband, 671.9 mm in Mahasamund, 623.7 mm in Dhamtari, 622.4 mm in Bilaspur, 787.7 mm in Mungeli, 682.9 mm in Raigarh, 542.5 mm in Sarangarh-Bilaigarh. Average rainfall was recorded in Janjgir-Champa 499.6 mm, Sakti 504.4 mm, Korba 611.7 mm, Gorela-Pendra-Marwahi 583.1 mm, Durg 501.8 mm. 489.6 mm in Kabirdham district, 683.1 mm in Rajnandgaon, 786.9 mm in Mohla-Manpur-Ambagarh post, 651.1 mm in Khairagarh-Chhuikhadan-Gandai, 679.5 mm in Balod, 482.4 mm in Bemetara, 650.0 mm in Bastar, 476.5 mm in Kondagaon, Kanker recorded 561.0 mm, Narayanpur 566.1 mm, Dantewada 755.1 mm and Sukma 876.4 mm of average rainfall since June 1.
