Pithora May 29, 2020. A bus full of laborers returning from Mumbai to West Bengal on National Highway 53 overturned Kuhari turn under Tumgaon at around 6 am today in the midst of Chhachan Mata temple. All 26 people aboard the bus were injured in the incident, in which a passenger’s leg was reported to be fractured.
According to the information received in connection with the incident, the bus sent by the Government of Bengal from Zaveri Bazar Mumbai was going back to its district Mednipur West Bengal from CR 29 B 7987. Due to the long journey, the bus driver running at a speed in the morning got a nap. Due to which the bus was uncontrolled and overturned.
As soon as the incident was reported, the Tumgaon police immediately rushed to the spot and rushed the injured passengers to the Community Health Center Tumgaon where the injured were discharged after the first treatment of the injured injured while the severely injured Amit Santra suffered a high fracture due to a leg fracture.
