Raipur May 29, 2020. The first Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh and JCC-J supremo Ajit Jogi has died at the age of 74. Jogi was admitted to Sri Narayana Hospital after a heart attack, where he died after suffering cardiac arrest again on Friday after 20 days of treatment. Hospital management has confirmed the death of Jogi. Actually Ajit Jogi was admitted to Sri Narayana Hospital in Devendra Nagar on May 9 after a heart attack. When he had a heart attack, he was eating Ganga tamarind. Tamarind seed was stuck in his neck. Ajit Jogi was initially in a coma at the hospital and was put on ventilator support. Amit Jogi, son of Ajit Jogi, has tweeted that he will be cremated at Gorella on Saturday.
Jogi was walking in the lawn of his house on the morning of May 9, eating tamarind. Meanwhile, tamarind seeds got stuck in his throat. Due to which his BP started falling and he suffered a cardiac arrest. During this time, his wife Dr. Renu Jogi handled him by giving first aid and admitted him to the hospital. The doctors here removed the seeds from the throat, but after this Jogi went into a coma and has died today.
