BJP and Congress are at loggerheads over the issue of dilapidated roads in Raipur city. Mayor Ejaz Dhebar, Leader of Opposition Meenal Choubey are campaigning against each other. BJP councilors started the corporation’s pole shell campaign on Saturday. This campaign is in response to the Mayor’s Pragati Yatra. Wearing black clothes, BJP councilors gathered at Jai Stambh Chowk in the city. After this, in the shape of a rally, everyone went to the Gandhi statue at Azad Chowk 
. The road has been dug up for cabling work. Leader of Opposition Meenal Choubey kept shouting slogans of Gaddha re Gaddha hi Gaddha after going to the pits. BJP people were seen cursing the Municipal Corporation Raipur and the Mayor by showing those places where there were bad patchwork on the road. Minal Choubey said during this time that the previous BJP government worked to beautify the city, but Congress mayor Ejaz Dhebar is making Raipur a Gadapur. Councilor Amar Bansal was seen driving an e-rickshaw, in which the picture of the mayor and the slogans of the city’s plight were written, the mayor said – is the BJP not the responsibility of the councilors
Ejaz Dhebar told about BJP’s campaign – BJP people themselves are exposing their own secrets. The development of the city is also the responsibility of the BJP corporators.
