Under the chairmanship of Collector Dr. Sarveshwar Narendra Bhure, the first meeting of the District Cooperative Development Committee was organized in the Red Cross meeting room, Raipur. The agenda of the meeting was presented before the committee by Chandravanshi, in which it was decided to develop Primary Agricultural Credit Cooperative Societies (PACS) as multi-activity centers. In this dairy, fishery, grain storage, processing, L.P.G. Various types of services like CNG petrol, diesel, general service center, Jan Aushadhi center etc. will be implemented. This will increase the sources of income of PACS and its members and new employment opportunities will be created in rural areas. In the meeting, the status of adoption of model bye-laws in Primary Agricultural Credit Co-operative Societies and the action taken by the office of Deputy Registrar Co-operative Societies Raipur was observed. After adopting the ideal bye-laws, Primary Agricultural Credit Co-operative Societies (PANs) can be developed as multi-faceted multi-purpose and vibrant economic institutions. Moving in this direction, all the PACRA/LAMPS at the national level are being linked with NABARD through a single national software network. For this, necessary preparations for computerization have been completed by Rami 128 packs of Raipur district. In order to realize the vision of prosperity with the cooperation of the Government of India, construction of godowns, custom hiring centers, processing units, fair price shops, etc. are to be constructed at max level through various schemes.
For this, it was decided to take action according to the consultation and guidance of NABARD and District Cooperative Central Bank. In order to develop the PACS committees as common service centers, 128 PACS committees of Raipur district have agreed to provide e-services. 5 PACS committees have been selected in Raipur district to operate Pradhan Mantri Janaushadhi Kendra. Online application has been made by these committees for operation of Jan Aushadhi Kendra. It has also been decided to make PACS committees work as Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samridhi Kendras. Petrol / Diesel / L.P.G. Agreed regarding the implementation of the central government scheme in the PACS committees eligible for dealership/distributorship and the operation and maintenance of the tap water scheme in rural areas by the PACS. It was decided to apply to the National Cooperative Development Corporation to meet the requirement of funds in the committees of the district and to take necessary action to make the cooperatives a strong economic institution through education and training.
